With the 14th just around the corner, now is the time to be scrambling through your closet looking for some Valentine’s Day outfit ideas.
We all know that, just like everything else this past year, Valentine’s Day is going to be looking a bit different. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t dress up or wear whatever makes you feel good!
Therefore, I decided to share a couple of my favorite outfits from this past year that will work for just about any Valentine’s Day occasion you may have planned for this year.
If you find yourself somewhere with a spring-like climate, opt for some soft pastels! As much as I love my neutrals, I also love a good pop of color in my outfits – like these pastel pants!
Shirt jackets, aka shackets, are totally in as of lately, and for good reason! They’re super versatile, and make the perfect layering piece. Plus, they’re super cute, too!
I’m a sucker for a good sweater vest, they are a great layering piece for the winter, and if you’re somewhere with a bit of a warmer climate, they are great on their own too. You can dress them up or down, making them suitable for just about any occasion.
Wide leg pants are the gift that keep on giving, there’s so many different ways you can wear them, making them suitable for whatever your Valentine’s Day may bring!
If you want to opt for something a bit edgier, try layer a turtleneck under a oversized graphic tee, or t-shirt dress! Accessorize with some cute boots and jewelry and you’re good to go.
Monochrome looks will always be a yes in my book. They’re easy to put together, and quite chic too!
If you’re feeling feminine and really in the Valentine’s Day spirit, opt for a cute pink dress! Pink is a great color because it’s soft, and works on just about any silhouette or style of dress.
You don’t have to be pregnant to wear an outfit like this, but if you are pregnant it (obviously) works for you too! A ribbed mock neck dress, or sweater dress, is perfect for every body!
For a more sophisticated look, you can always go for some heeled booties, leggings, a sweater and trench!
And lastly, for a date night in, you can’t go wrong with some loungewear! A pair of leggings and an oversized Aerie sweatshirt? Say no more!
