ULTA Haul (Including some fun haircare!)

Hello hello! Hope everyone is holding up! I don’t know about anyone else, but saying my hair is looking rough during this quarantine would be an absolute understatement. That is why I did a little ULTA Haul recently and got some fun, and much-needed, haircare products!

Before I go on and tell you what I got, let me just say that none of these products were meant to really alter my hair. Just some things to hold me over until I see my beloved hairdresser once again, and some things to have a little fun while I wait. When it comes to hair, I know box dye and things of that nature are not to be messed around with by the every day person who isn’t trained or well-versed in hairdressing.

So, without further blabbing, here’s what I got! (Or, if you don’t feel like reading, you can watch the video above!)

First thing I got, which is probably the least exciting, but was something I needed, is a self-tanning mitt! I can’t for the life of me find the one I had, so when I saw them on sale I decided to grab one. Plus, this one has adorable little flamingos on it, so how could I refuse! The ULTA Sunless Tanning Mitt was on sale for $4.79!

Next is a product that was a refill for me of one of my favorite budget-friendly skincare products. I have fairly clear skin, but my nose often falls victim to tiny nuisance blackheads. I recently tried out one of those pore vacuums, but ended up with bruises on my face. Granted, I ordered an off-brand one from Amazon in a hasty decision, but I felt that the results just weren’t worth the bruises on my face. Therefore, I opted for my favorite Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. I’ve always liked how well these pore strips work, and they’re definitely on the affordable side. This Biore Combo Pack Deep Cleansing Pore Strips has both nose and face strips and was only $9.99!

Third is a product that I tried out a few weeks ago, and loved them so much I decided to get some more! In case you missed it, I recently tried out magnetic eyelashes for the first time (you can check out that post HERE!). The pair I tried out were from the brand KISS. They were SO easy to apply, and they stayed on all day. I decided try another pair of the KISS Magnetic Tempt Lashes, which were only $7.99! It should be noted, that this pair of lashes doesn’t come with the magnetic liner, so if you plan to try these out make sure you pick up the KISS Magnetic Eyeliner to go with it!

Now, to dive in to the hair products! The first hair product I grabbed was another refill for a product that I discovered recently through one of my FabFitFun boxes and fell in love with it. The detangled spray from Drybar smells great, and is awesome for ridding your hair of tangles and prepping it to be blow-dried when you get out of the shower. It is great for protecting your hair from the heat of the blowdryer and different styling products, and it is infused with biotin, vitamins B & C and UV blockers! The Drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler is just $23.00.

I don’t know about anyone else, but as I mentioned earlier, my hair is looking rough and the worst part about it are my roots. I decided to try out some L’Oreal Root Cover Up. However, I must note that to my own fault I didn’t realize this root cover up was for gray hairs. I do not have gray hairs, I have really really dark roots, therefore, this spray did not do very much for me. However, if you’re struggling to cover up some grays I do think this would really help! The spray is available in a number of different hair colors, and it is a temporary spray, so you can re-apply whenever you’d like! The L’Oreal Root Cover Up spray runs for just $10.99!

I’ve always wanted to do something fun with my hair color, and I figured the time will never be better considering I’m not going anywhere and if I don’t like it, who will see it! I’ve always wanted to color my hair rose gold, but never took the leap. So when I saw that L’Oreal offered a 1-day color spray I HAD to try it. I was very pleased with the results of this! A little of this spray goes a long way, so the can will last you some time, and the color looks great and works with any hair color! And if you don’t like it, you can just hop in the shower and wash it right out. The best part? The L’Oreal Colorista 1-day spray is only $9.99 and comes in tons of colors!

This leads me to my last product! If I loved the rose gold spray (which I did) then I figured I’d try something that would last a little longer than a day. Thats why I tried this blush wash! Granted, I haven’t had my hair done in a really long time, so my blonde is pretty dark at this point. If my hair were lighter, I think this would have caught on a lot better. But nonetheless, this wash left my hair with some strawberry/rose gold tints to it, and I definitely would love to try this again when my hair is a bit lighter! This wash is free of SLS/SLES Sulfates, smells great and comes in a number of tints! The BLONDME Blush Wash Shampoo is only $25.90!

If you’re looking for some new products to try out, I recommend these! And if you have anything new that you’ve recently tried out and loved, I’d love to know!
