If your wedding is coming up we have put together a few top tips to prepare that should alleviate some of the stress.
Book your beauty treatments ahead of time
Most people will want to book in a beauty treatment or two ahead of the big day and it’s important to get these booked sooner rather than later. The last thing you want is to go and book in for a teeth whitening, hair dye, or a wax only to find there are no slots left with the salon you normally go to.
Try not to sweat the little things
Your wedding is a big event with a lot of people and some things might not go as smoothly as you might hope. It could be that someone wears a garish color, a drink is spilled or something else happens. No matter what it is, remember that in hindsight these things won’t matter and you will probably look back and laugh at them. By not taking it too seriously you will have much more fun on the day and find it a lot less stressful!
Make lists
Lists will be your best friend in the run-up to your big day. Make sure you write down everything that you need to do, buy or organize and you won’t forget anything. You could have different lists depending on if it’s something you need for the day or if it’s something you need to sort ahead. By doing this, you can tick things off when they have been done and also ensure you are on track ahead of the day.
Pass duties onto your bridal party
It can feel overwhelming getting ready for your wedding, but that’s why you have a bridal party! Be sure to pass on tasks and duties to your bridesmaids, they will love the opportunity to help and it will take a weight off your shoulder too. You could get them to help you with things such as writing table place names, putting together your favors or sorting out items to take on the day.
