Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are engaged!
The Olympic gold-medalist and her Houston Texans boyfriend made the announcement on social media Tuesday morning.
Simone posted a series of photos to her Instagram account, calling her reaction to the proposal, “the easiest yes”.
Jonathan Owens also posted photos to his Instagram account, saying he “woke up this morning with a fiancée”.
The proposal took place in a gazebo in Houston Texas, where Jonathan Owens plays football.
Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens confirmed their relationship back in August of 2020, with fans speculating that they began dating at least weeks before as they noticed that Simone had wished Jonathan a happy birthday on her social media.
