My Favorite Face Masks I’m Using Right Now

I’ve always had very dry, sensitive skin, which has made finding skincare products, specifically face masks, that work for me very difficult.

I often see women using all kinds of awesome face masks that when I try them they burn  my skin. I mean, I know everyone’s skin reacts differently to things, but is it too much to ask for a face mask that doesn’t leave me feeling like I’ve burnt a layer of my skin off?

Luckily, after searching high and low, I’ve found some face masks (and some face masks found me) that work!

I wanted to share some of my favorite face masks I’m using right now for anyone who may find themselves in the same position that I am in!

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask

This first one is ultimately my go to mask. I’ve never had a bad experience with anything from First Aid Beauty. Which, if you have never tried this brand before, it is a company that creates products while keeping those of us with sensitive skin in mind. This particular mask smells great (if you like the smell of oatmeal that is), and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and so soft! All you have to do is leave it on for 10 minutes and voila! 111Skin Harley St. London Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Mask

This mask came to me in a FabFitFun box, almost as if they knew I needed this mask in my life. First and foremost, I love sheet masks. They are so easy to apply and so easy to clean up afterwards. This particular sheet mask is a gel mask, and just like the package says it is a rose gold mask, making it rose gold in color. So if you want to look like Dwight Schrute in the episode of The Office where they learn CPR — this mask is for you!

But, in all seriousness, this mask works great. It doesn’t make my face burn, and it leaves my face feeling smooth and soft and overall very clean. To purchase the 111Skin Rose Gold Mask click HERE.

Tula Purifying Face Cleanser

I know, I know I’m cheating by using a cleanser in a post about masks. But I couldn’t pass this one by. I know there is often a lot of hype around Tula products, and if we’re being quite honest I never went out of my way to feed into the hype until I received this cleanser in a FabFitFun box. After trying it and loving it, I decided to keep buying it because it was doing my skin wonders. I use this cleanser day and night, especially after removing makeup. It doesn’t leave behind any oily or greasy residue, and it smells exceptionally good — like a clean aroma that reassures you that your face is clean LOL. Generation Clay Ultra Violet Brightening Purple Clay Mask

Yet again, this is another product that came to me in a FabFitFun box (it’s like they really know me.) I’m not normally the biggest fan of masks with a pigment to them because they are so difficult to clean up afterwards, call me lazy — that’s a fair statement. HOWEVER, this mask has been so great to my skin that I will suck up the hassle of cleaning it up for the great way it leaves my skin feeling. Once you apply to your skin the mask hardens on your face, sometimes so much so that you can barely move your mouth, but it’s all for a good reason because afterwards my face feels cleansed, soft and silky smooth.
