Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 Reveals He’s Been Battling Cancer

Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus revealed on Wednesday that he has been undergoing treatments for cancer.

He took to social media late Wednesday afternoon to say that he has been undergoing chemotherapy for the past three months.

“It sucks and I’m scared, and at the same time I’m blessed with incredible doctors and family and friends to get me through this,” his statement read in part.

Hoppus says that though he has months of treatment ahead, he remains hopeful and positive.

Hoppus has been a member of Blink-182 since their inception back in 1992, and has remained with the band since then.
