Makeup Brushes and Tools EXPLAINED!

Ever take a look at a collection of makeup brushes and wonder which brushes are used for what?

I feel like often times when we apply makeup we are so concerned about the quality of the makeup itself, that we forget about how important the tools that we used to apply the makeup are.

While, yes, the quality of the makeup we use is in fact super important, the brushes and tools we use can make or break the look.

There are tons of different types of makeup brushes, each with their own particular functions. While these functions aren’t set in stone for each brush, it will definitely help improve how your makeup looks when you apply it with the correct brush or tool.

Although I don’t own every type of brush there is out there, hopefully this guide gives you a good start on what different types of brushes are used for!
