Is The Fall 2021 FabFitFun Worth The Money?

Is The Fall 2021 FabFitFun Box Worth The Money?

A new season means a new FabFitFun box! This month (obviously) we’re taking a deep dive into the Fall 2021 FabFitFun box.

To be totally transparent, I wasn’t the BIGGEST fan of the Summer 2021 box. I felt like there was a lot left to be desired with that box, and that the love and effort from previous boxes really wasn’t there. So, I was a bit nervous for the fall box.

The first thing I noticed about the fall box was the quick turnaround and delivery time. Typically, box customizations will open up, and then I’ll receive the box about a month later. This time, I believe there was only a two week turnaround from the time I customized my box, to the time that I received it. So, shipping was definitely a lot quicker this time, which was a plus.

The first thing I noticed upon opening the Fall 2021 FabFitFun box was that the catalog that comes with each box didn’t have the breakdown of the value of each item inside the box that it typically has. Instead, there was a page with a QR code that would direct you to the FabFitFun app where you could get more information.

Personally, I was not a fan of this. Too many extra steps, I’d much rather have all the details right in front of me. Additionally, I couldn’t remember my password to my FabFitFun login as I am already logged in on my computer, so I wasn’t able to log in to the app, leaving me to my own devices to do some research and figure out the value of each item on my own.

As far as the contents of the box goes, if you want to see an unboxing, you can check out my YouTube video here:

And, as I promised in the video, here is a breakdown of the value of each product within this season’s box.

Zoe Ayla Eco-Friendly Comb Set: $24.99

M.A.D. Skincare Delicate Skin Cleansing Gel: $34.00

Amika The Kure Bond Repair Shampoo & Conditioner: $18.00 & $22.00

Purlisse Pumpkin + Ginger Detoxifying Charcoal Mask: $48.00

Doctor Rogers Restore Lip Balm: $15.00

Babe Lash Pro Lash Lifter: $20.00

Benefit Cosmetics Professional Smoothing Face Primer: $32.00

Mia Melange Handcrafted Basket: $60.00

So, after breaking it all down and doing the math, the total value of the box came out to $273.99.

Overall, the value of the box is great for the $50 you pay for the subscription.

Is it the best box I’ve ever received? Unfortunately, no. I’ve received boxes in the past with a value of up to $500, with a single item being upwards of $100.

I’ve noticed in the past handful of months that the FabFitFun company has expanded to more than just a subscription box. As a member of FabFitFun, you have access to tons of different seasonal sales and exclusive offers, which I think is really neat. Though, it makes me think that less of their focus is on the subscription boxes, which in turn has contributed to the slightly disappointing past two boxes.

All in all, the box is still worth the money that I paid, and I am excited to try out some of these products!

Have any thoughts on this season’s Fall 2021 FabFitFun box? Leave them in the comments!
