Have you ever seen ads for a shop or product everywhere and wonder if it is legit? I have to admit this happens often for me. Most recently I had been wondering “Is Nasty Gal worth it?” after seeing tons of photos come across my Instagram, and then seeing ads for crazy good sales. Therefore, I decided to take a chance and see if they really are worth it!
Let me preface this with the fact that I am a huge fan of Sophia Amoruso and her work. If you don’t know who that is, she is the founder of Nasty Gal, and later Girlboss.
Nasty Gal started as an eBay shop that Sophia put together by going thrifting and finding vintage clothing to sell, and then later flipping clothes. It eventually turned into a big retailer with original pieces. However, Sophia no longer runs Nasty Gal, so I was unsure if the quality was still there.
After seeing that they were holding an 80% off site wide sale, I figured no better time than then to shop! So I scrolled through the site and found TONS of super cute pieces!
I ended up getting 9 different pieces (some of them sets, so in reality I got like 12 pieces) and only spent about $100.
After receiving my package in the mail, I realized that others may also be wondering “Is Nasty Gal worth it?” So, I decided to do a quick haul and try on for my YouTube channel! You can watch the video below:
If you’re interested in any of the pieces that I ordered, I’ve linked them all right here! All you have to do is click on the name of the piece you’d like to check out. Just to note, I didn’t list the price next to each piece because I got some of them on sale, so the prices have fluctuated a little bit. HOWEVER, they are still super cheap and I’ve noticed that have sales literally all the time.

Overall, if someone were to pass me on the street and ask “Is Nasty Gal worth it?” I’d say yes! As always, you get what you pay for. So if you spend $5 on a pair of shorts, you can’t really complain if the material is a bit lighter than you had hoped for. But all in all, everything has stayed in tact for me and it is all super cute, and doesn’t leave my wallet hurting! So, I consider it a win.
