H&M Spring Shift

These H&M Pieces Are Perfect To Help You Transition Your Wardrobe To Spring

H&M Spring Shift

Spring time is upon us, and many of us couldn’t be happier to exchange the gray winter skies for sunnier, warmer, longer days.

But here’s the thing about this time of year – sometimes you’re experiencing 4 different seasons in the course of a day. So, deciding on an outfit for the day can be quite tough.

Luckily, many brands and retailers understand this struggle, and are offering up pieces to help you get through those cold mornings followed by warm to hot afternoons.

One of the retailers who have a whole curated collection of pieces for this time of year is H&M.

Their “Spring Shift” pieces are all pieces that are super versatile for your spring wardrobe, making them wearable, no matter the weather forecast this spring.

That’s why today we’re sharing some of our top picks from H&M to add to your spring wardrobe this season!

H&M Spring

As previously mentioned, each of these pieces work in a versatile way, whether it be through layering up to keep you warm during the chillier hours, or being able to wear them on their own during the warmer hours.

These pieces in particular are all pieces that we feel are on trend and can be styled in such a way that you’ll be stopping people in their tracks to check out your outfits!

Wide High Ankle Jeans: $29.99

First things first, if you are a frequent TikTok scroller, you’ll know that APPARENTLY Gen Z thinks that skinny jeans are on the outs, and while we can’t completely agree with that statement because we love our skinny jeans, we will say that other styles of jeans have been on the rise lately, especially jeans with a wider leg. These jeans in particular are super cute, and the dark wash allows them to match with pretty much anything. As far as shoes go, you can pair these with a pair of booties, sneakers or even sandals depending on the weather. And best of all, they’re super budget-friendly!

Rib-knit Cardigan: $19.99

This one is pretty self-explanatory, as everyone could use some cardigans! You can (obviously) use them for layering, or if it’s a bit warmer you can wear them with a cute bralette or cropped top underneath, or you can tie it around your waist. What we like about this cardigan in particular is the boxy fit with the dropped shoulders, as well as the tortoise shell print buttons, and it only runs for $19.99!

Wide-cut Green/Yellow Floral Blouse: $17.99

Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking, we know. However, floral print has definitely been on the rise more lately, this type of print in particular. This blouse is long sleeve and can be worn under a blazer or jacket if you’re chilly, but it is airy and lightweight enough that it can be worn in warmer weather as well. The collar on this blouse really helps the rest of the fabric to lay in a fragile way that gives the top some depth. Not to mention the green and yellow floral print is so insanely cute!

Ribbed Crop Top: $12.99

A simple crop top, such as this one, can definitely be considered a spring wardrobe staple in this day and age. A crop top can be styled in so many different ways for so many different occasions. You can style it under a cardigan or jacket, or you can wear it on it’s own. You can wear it with a pair of high-waisted jeans of any style, or you can pair it wear a pair of shorts or even a nice midi skirt. Truly, the possibilities with a piece so simple and basic are endless.

Tie-Belt Shorts In Khaki Green: $24.99

Of course with spring eventually comes shorts weather, and these shorts would be a great addition to any spring wardrobe. This color has been very popular the past few years, and I can’t see it going anywhere any time soon. Additionally, it can match with so much! These shorts are the perfect length, not too short and not too long. The pleats are a great detail, and the back of the waistband is elastic, giving it a bit of stretch. And let us never forget, it has pockets!

Shoulder-Pad Graphic Top: $5.99

This shouldn’t come as a surprise when I say that graphic tees or any kind have been in this past year. I’ve seen classic rock tees, quote tees, movie tees, sport tees, you name it. The great thing about these tees is that they can make the most basic outfit look like it took more effort than it actually did. This graphic top in particular is sleeveless for when the weather gets even warmer, and it has shoulder pads to give the top some shape, without being overbearing.

Plaid Shirt Jacket – White/Gray Plaid: $49.99

Shirt jackets, also known as “shackets” have filled store shelves and Instagram feeds like no other. When you think about it, they’re so practical that it’s a wonder they weren’t more popular sooner. Seriously, who wants to walk around with a shirt and then a jacket over top, when you can have a jacket that looks like and doubles as a shirt! These shackets can be styled so nicely, with a pair of jeans, leggings, shorts, whatever you feel like wearing that day! Additionally, the white and gray plaid design of this shirt jacket in particular makes it versatile enough to match with just about anything.

Knit Sweater – Light Purple: $9.99

Another basic staple that should be a part of your spring wardrobe is a nice knit sweater. You really just can’t go wrong with a simple knit sweater. What’s so great about this sweater is the color, of course! Pastels have been incredibly trendy this past year, especially this pastel lilac color. There’s been all kinds of monochrome looks using this color, there’s even been extremely popular eyeshadow palettes using this color story. It’s such a gorgeous color that you will immediately be radiating spring vibes when you wear it!

Printed T-Shirt Dress: $24.99

As mentioned earlier, graphic tops have been in this past year, but we need not forget that so are t-shirt dresses. So, when you combine the two, you get some really awesome pieces. This printed t-shirt dress is perfect for lounging around, or running some errands. It’s soft cotton jersey material makes it super comfy for getting things done, or just relaxing. The drop shoulders and wide sleeves also give it a super casual, relaxed look! Also, who doesn’t love a cool retro-vibe Coca Cola graphic.

Calf-Length Skirt – Beige/Leopard Print: $29.99

And lastly, for those who aren’t a fan of pants, why not opt for a skirt! This calf-length skirt has a super cute leopard print, but is also available in other prints and solids if animal print isn’t your thing. The lightweight material of this skirt makes it perfect for warmer weather. You can pair it with a graphic tee, a sweater, a crop top, anything you want! Additionally, it’s a high-waist skirt with an elastic waistband for some stretch and a more comfortable fit.
