Highly Anticipated Television Releases In 2023

Netflix, Hulu and Prime – oh my!

We’re in for a treat this upcoming year, with tons of new tv series being released and lots more returning.

We’ll even see the return of some series that we’ve waited quite some time to see a new season from.

So if you’re working on your must-watch list for the 2023, we’re counting down some of the most highly anticipated television releases in 2023.

GINNY & GEORGIA (SEASON 2)

Release Date: January 5, 2023

The long awaited season 2 of Ginny & Georgia is premiering on Netflix at the start of the New Year, and it’s sure to be messy. Ginny & Georgia are still working to navigate their new lives in their new homes, until secrets from the past start to rear their ugly heads.

THE LAST OF US

Release Date: January 15, 2023

Based on the critically acclaimed video game, “The Last Of Us” takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel (Pedro Pascal) is hired to smuggle 14-year-old Ellie (Bella Ramsey) out of a quarantine zone. Upon doing so, the pair find themselves relying on each other  for survival.

THAT ’90S SHOW

Release Date: January 15, 2023

We’re taking a time machine back to 1995, where Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer. There she finds a group of friends, and finds herself under the watchful eye of Kitty and Red. A must watch for fans of the OG show!

YOU (SEASON 4)

Release Date: Part 1 February 10, Part 2 March 10

Maybe one of the most highly anticipated releases of the upcoming year, Joe Goldberg is back, but this time he is going by Professor Jonathan Moore. Claiming to have gone through a bit of refinement after crossing the pond to London, will Joe – er, Jonathan – find himself staying out of trouble? Unlikely.

THE MANDALORIAN (SEASON 3)

Release Date: March 1, 2023

We’re returning to a galaxy far, far away this spring with the long-awaited third season of the hit Disney+ series, “The Mandalorian”. We’re excited to get some more Grogu after almost two years of waiting!

AND JUST LIKE THAT… (SEASON 2)

Following the success of season 1 of the “Sex and the City” reboot, HBO Max is gearing up to bring us another season of Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate life in their 50s.

NEVER HAVE I EVER (SEASON 4)

Devi Vishwakumar is returning for more chaos in the fourth and final season of Mindy Kaling’s hit Netflix comedy “Never Have I Ever”. Get ready for more drama, romance and love triangles this year.

OUTER BANKS (SEASON 3)

The Pogues are back in this third season of Netflix’s OBX. Having ended last season finding themselves on a deserted island, this season is sure to be full of more drama and trouble… and, oh yeah, we forgot to mention… John B.’s dad is alive?!

QUEEN CHARLOTTE: A BRIDGERTON STORY

In this limited series “Bridgerton” spinoff, we follow the story of the ever mysterious Queen Charlotte and how she first came to encounter George. Showing us how the Bridgerton society as we know it came to be.

ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING (SEASON 3)

More mystery, more laughs and more antics from Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez. Yes, we’re talking about the third season of Hulu’s “Only Murders In The Building”. These three strangers turned friends are sure to find themselves in the midst of more mystery (and, likely, trouble) this upcoming season.
