FABFITFUN-WINTER-2019-THUMBNAIL

FabFitFun Winter 2019 Unboxing!

This week I received one of my favorite deliveries of each season — my FabFitFun Winter 2019 box!

I’ve done a few FabFitFun unboxing posts on here, and every time I do them they seem to go over really well. I like to think that’s because of how great these boxes are.

If this is your first time reading about FabFitFun, it is a seasonal subscription box that contains full size skincare and makeup products, as well as accessories, clothing, gadgets, home decor and more. Every box that I have received thus far has truly been a very pleasant surprise.

How Does It Work?

The way the box works, is when you sign up for a subscription with FabFitFun you fill out a quick questionnaire so that the staff at FabFitFun can ensure that the contents of your box are things that you will enjoy.

When it comes time to receiving your seasonal box, a few weeks before your box is shipped you will receive an email that customization is open. Depending on your membership, you will be able to customize a number of the items in your box. If you’d rather be surprised, you can choose to be surprised instead.

In addition to the box, there are other perks that come along with having a membership. Such as access to a marketplace that features tons of products that the editors at FabFitFun enjoy or that are featured in a variety of the boxes, and they’re all offered at a very discounted price.

Winter 2019 Box

I received my winter box just the other day, and of course my expectations were exceeded as they always are with these boxes. I received a variety of great items in this box, some that I have already tried and others that I can’t wait to try.

Not all boxes have the same products in them, so what I received in mine others may have received something different, depending on the customization process as well as their answers to the questionnaire when they signed up.

Here is a quick rundown of what I received in my box:

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream. I absolutely love Kate Somerville products, and I am so excited to try this moisturizing cream. The packaging is adorable and the scent, while not strong, is great. I have very dry skin, especially in the winter, so I am super excited to try this out. Product worth: $65

Ban.do Bluetooth Shower Speaker. I love to listen to music in the shower, so this bluetooth speaker is absolutely perfect. This item is one that I customized and chose to receive in my box this season. Ban.do has the cutest items, and this one is no different! The print is absolutely adorable, and the suction cup back makes it perfect to just stick to the wall in the shower, and listen to music! Product worth: $30

Rodial Soft Focus Glow Drops. These illuminating glowy drops work perfectly as a makeup primer, or to just give your face a dewy glow. I had never heard of this brand before receiving this box, but I have to admit, after just a few uses of these glow drops I am already a fan. I couldn’t wait to try this out, so I immediately did! The drops smell great, and work amazingly as a makeup primer, but if you want to use it as a standalone product it works great for that too. It gives you a dewy look without leaving your face feeling slimy or sticky. Product worth: $55

Paper Source 12 Month Rose Floral Planner. Anyone who knows me knows I love to keep myself and my life organized, so getting this planner was very exciting for me. The floral print is absolutely adorable, and the weekly and monthly views make it perfect for me to be able to keep track of my blog posts and content calendar! Product worth: $27.95

Ahava Salt Bag. This bag of natural dead sea bath salts is to be used to help ease muscle tension and leave you with soft skin. I’ve never used a product like this before, but it gives me to perfect excuse to use the giant tub in our house that doesn’t get much use! Product worth: $16

Inc.redible Nailsinc Thirsty Hand Mask Duo. I am forever using face masks, but I can’t say I’ve ever used a hand mask. These hand masks go right on as glove and help keep your hands moisturized and hydrated. This is perfect for the winter months, as my skin, especially my hands, become extremely dry. I am so excited to try this out! Product worth: $16

Drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler. I’ve always heard great things about Drybar products, but have never gotten the chance to try any out — now I have the chance! I am super excited to try out this detangler, as I am often finding myself wishing I had some. The best part about this is it protects against heat, which is great for the many of us who constantly blow-dry, straighten and curl our hair. Product worth: $23

Makeup Eraser In Original Pink. I love products that are practical and reusable, and this is just that! This makeup eraser works like magic, I’m not even kidding. I was able to remove my entire face of makeup with just this eraser and some water. It wipes off like magic, without forcing you to scrub your face to the point of damage. The best part about this is it can be used over and over again! Product worth: $20

All in all, I was so pleased with this box! The total of my box came out to around $252, which is amazing considering I only spent $50 on this entire box! If you’re a first time subscriber to FabFitFun, they forever have promo codes that you can use to receive $10-$15 off your first box. The current promo code is: SOCOLD. So be sure to enter that if you’re signing up for the first time!
