Singers Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have ended their relationship after 2 years of dating.
Both Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes shared a statement to their Instagram Stories on Wednesday evening, announcing the breakup.
“Our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever,” the statement read in part.
The pair says they started out as best friends and will continue to be best friends following the split.
Rumors began to circulate earlier in the day Wednesday after DeuxMoi reported that they received a tip that Cabello was overheard asking a friend about breakup advice.
The break up is assumed to be recent, as they were spotted on Miami Beach earlier this month displaying affection towards one another.
Cabello and Mendes have been in a highly publicized relationship since 2019.
Since then, they have attended many public events together, and even collaborated on music together.
