5 Skincare Products I Can’t Live Without

toner-906142_1920

Skincare is such a crucial part of my daily routine, and I’m sure most of, if not all of you, can agree. I’ve always had problematic skin. Not so much with breakouts, but dry, red, irritated skin. Because of my problematic skin, I have tried product after product after product just to see what works with my skin. Many products proved to just make my skin even more irritated before, so I have done my due diligence in weeding out what does and doesn’t work for me. Now, that’s not saying that my skin is perfect now because believe me… it isn’t. However, I have found that these products do benefit my skin in some way, shape or form.

1. First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser

As I mentioned before, I have problematic skin so I need a wash that is suitable for sensitive skin. First Aid Beauty has a facial cleanser that has really worked for me. I use this wash in the morning and at night after I wash it with regular soap. A lot of cleansers dry my face out, but this one keeps my face feeling hydrated and glowing.

2. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream

The First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream is my go-to when combating my dry skin. I always apply a layer of cream to my face right after washing with the First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser. This keeps my face hydrated, especially throughout the night.

3. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

Here is another staple in my stash of skincare products. I’ve always been a big fan of Clinique products, I’ve never bought anything from Clinique that has disappointed me and their Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion is no exception! This moisturizer has saved me during the winter months, keeping my skin hydrated like it’s its job (because it is)!

4. Neutrogena Light Therapy Mask

Now this one definitely isn’t your run of the mill skincare product, but I am IN LOVE with it! I’ve read multiple articles that said that a good remedy for redness is light therapy, so I figured I’d try it. If you are unable to afford the light therapy that dermatologists offer, this is a much more affordable alternative. I’ve never had the dermatologists light therapy so I can’t speak to the difference in results. However, from using the Neutrogena mask alone I saw great improvement in my skin. Each mask activator allows for 30 treatments, which you can do daily. All it takes is wearing the mask for 10 minutes a day, it’s so easy! Over the course of the first 30 days I saw my skin clear up of any blemishes that I had, and the redness in my skin was definitely toned down a significant amount.

5. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Last on my list is Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. This is the first thing I use during my nightly routine. The Micellar Water is great for removing makeup at the end of the day, without having to scrub your face to the point of irritation.

These are just a few of my favorite skincare products! Feel free to share your favorites with me, I’m always looking to try out new things!
