In the age of Instagram, everyone is looking for the perfect photo op! This summer, the City of Brotherly Love is helping you bring that selfie game to the next level!

Photo Pop Philly, located at 1315 Walnut Street in Center City, is the city’s first interactive pop-up photo/art exhibit. The exhibit features five rooms full of art and beautiful displays, all of which were put together by local artists! Among the displays, you will find murals from Amberella, Catron Lee, Christine Moore, Nero, Kara Kahn’s Pop Up Polaroid, These Pink Lips and many more.

Full of fun colors, vibrant art, and great lighting it is almost impossible to not stop and snap a pic!

You’ll definitely want to grab your best gal pals to check out this exhibit, located right in the middle of the bustling city, surrounded by plenty of places to grab a bite to eat, a drink, or even some ice cream after checking out the pop-up!

Each exhibit features something that you will undoubtedly find inspiring, and will have you feeling like you can take on the world. After all, we’ve all got a little bit of Girlboss in us, don’t we?

The exhibit is open daily throughout the week, and due to popular demand it has extended it’s stay all the way up through labor day, so be sure to add checking this place out on your summer bucket list!

For $25 you will be able to explore the space for an hour (which in my opinion was plenty of time to snap a ton of pictures). Tickets are sold in advance so they can ensure you have plenty of space to take your photos.

Pro Tip: Go on a Wednesday afternoon, early evening and then enjoy some drink specials with Center City Sips!

To make the most of your experience, go with a friend who has an eye for photography or art, that way you can help each other take some stunning photos. If you need help with the photo taking, don’t be afraid to ask one of the workers at the exhibit, they are there all day so they undoubtedly know the best angles and poses!

Don’t be afraid to try out new angles, poses, boomerangs, and whatever else you want to try, it’s a judgement free zone!

The exhibits are full of color, especially with an Americana theme. So you’ll want to choose an outfit that will stand out with the art. I suggest nothing with crazy patterns!

When sharing your photos, be sure to share them with #PhotoPopPhilly! There’s so many creative photos from tons of people under that hashtag, so why not share yours!

If you plan on taking a trip there this summer, the Photo Pop Philly website is where to go to purchase tickets, and learn more about the exhibit!
